Our Lady of Sorrows Church traces its origins to 1782 as the original chapel serving the Presidio of Santa Barbara, which was constructed to protect the colonial establishment of the Spanish Empire within California. The wedding ceremony at Our Lady of Sorrows was a special affair, perfectly framed by the church’s stunning architecture and art. The couple shared their first kiss at the altar, leading into their perfect forever, together.
After a beautiful church ceremony, the celebration began at Villa + Vine. Guests were warmly welcomed by an outdoor venue, filled with white florals, candles, and twinkling lights. The Santa Barbara sun was the star of the show, lighting up the reception area perfectly. As the celebrations continued, everyone enjoyed an energetic dance floor that seemed to last all night long! At the end of the night, the couple stole a kiss in front of the Arlington Theater, displaying their names on the marquee to mark an unforgettable day.
